Bethani, 22, and Tim, 23, had not been married long when Bethani discovered she was pregnant. They had been preparing for a happy little family with the cries and laughter of children, so when they heard the good news, both Bethani and Tim could not hide their joy. However, they did not know that this was only a small part of the great gift that life brought to their family.

During a routine ultrasound at a local clinic, just two days before Christmas, the couple received shocking news: Bethani was pregnant, not just with one or two, but with four babies.
Because she had no idea that she could be pregnant with multiples, when she heard the unexpected news, both Bethani and her husband, Tim, were extremely surprised and overwhelmed with happiness.

“The nurse looked at me and then back at the screen, her hand pointing and counting, one, two, and four. She told me, my wife was carrying four babies. As soon as she said that, my body shook and I was nervous,” Tim said.
According to Dr. James Bofill of the University of Mississippi Hospital, neither Bethani nor Tim’s family has ever had multiple pregnancies, so her quadruplets are very rare, even a miracle. “The chance of any person having multiples without the intervention of artificial birthing methods is very low, only 1 in 729,000,” said Dr. James.

After the big shock, Bethani and Tim quickly calmed down and realized that there was a lot of work to do and a lot of preparation ahead.
However, the surprises for Bethani’s family did not stop there. During another ultrasound at the University of Mississippi Hospital, the couple was again surprised when the nurse announced that all four children were girls. Quadruplets are extremely rare, identical quadruplets are even rarer. In the world, such a case occurs only once in 15 million births.

One surprise after another, overcoming all the difficulties and hardships of a pregnant woman, Bethani finally gave birth to 4 baby girls at the 33rd week of pregnancy after a cesarean section.
Although there were many risks not only because of multiple births but also because of cesarean section, luckily, happiness once again smiled on this small family when both Bethani and the 4 children were healthy.
The four children were named Abigail, Emily, Grace and Mckayla.
