Sharon Osbourne Opens Up About Ozzy’s Final Days and a Love That Defied the Odds.
Just days before Ozzy Osbourne’s death on July 22, 2025, Sharon Osbourne gave a deeply moving interview reflecting on their extraordinary life together.
For more than four decades, their bond endured chaos, fame, addiction, and illness.
Sharon said she fell in love with Ozzy not for his stardom, but for his rawness and honesty — “He wasn’t pretending.
He was what he was.” Vulnerable, wild, unpredictable, and absolutely himself.
They married in 1982, shortly after Ozzy was dismissed from Black Sabbath.
What seemed like the end of his career turned into a new beginning, thanks largely to Sharon, who became his manager and helped reshape rock history.
Together, they raised three children — Aimee, Kelly, and Jack — and faced more hardships than most couples do in ten lifetimes.
Sharon described their journey as “a wild storm that never stopped,” but also a love story built on loyalty, forgiveness, and fierce protection.
Ozzy’s battles with addiction nearly tore their family apart multiple times.
Sharon admitted there were moments when she wanted to walk away — “I’ve packed my bags more than once,” she laughed through tears — but she always stayed.
“I couldn’t leave him when he needed me most. And somehow, he always found a way back to us.”
In recent years, Ozzy’s health declined sharply. Diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and having endured multiple surgeries and injuries, he spent much of his final years in and out of hospitals.
But Sharon said they made every day count. “He wanted to laugh, listen to music, be surrounded by family. And he never stopped saying he loved me.”
Their last days together were quiet but deeply meaningful. Sharon recounted one tender moment when Ozzy, barely able to speak, squeezed her hand and whispered, *“Thank you for my life.”*
Now, as she prepares for life without him, Sharon says she finds comfort in knowing their love story will be remembered. “He was the love of my life, my greatest challenge, and my greatest reward. I don’t know how I’ll go on — but I will, because he’d want me to. And I’ll carry him with me forever.”
A public memorial for Ozzy is being planned in Los Angeles, with tributes expected from generations of rock legends and fans across the world.
