- 1 tablespoon of baking soda
- 1 tablespoon of white vinegar
- 5-10 drops of peppermint essential oil (optional but boosts effectiveness)

- Small bowl or lid (for placing the mixture)

🧑🍳 Instructions:
- In a small bowl, add 1 tbsp of toothpaste.
- Add 1 tbsp of baking soda to the toothpaste and mix well.
- Pour in 1 tbsp of white vinegar slowly. The mixture will fizz — this is normal.

- (Optional) Add 5–10 drops of peppermint oil for stronger repellent effect.
- Pour the mixture into small shallow containers (like jar lids or small plates).
- Place the containers in corners, near windows, under sinks, or by garbage bins.
🕒 What Happens After 1 Hour?
- The minty smell and fumes from the toothpaste and peppermint oil repel mosquitoes and flies.
- Baking soda and vinegar create an environment cockroaches hate.
- They will leave the area within a short time, and you’ll notice fewer pests after just an hour.
🔁 Tips:
- Replace the mixture every 2–3 days for continued effect.
- You can also spread a thin layer along walls or behind appliances using a cotton swab if needed.
