🧼 I Use This Common Household Ingredient to Remove Old Yellow Stains – And It Works Like a Charm!
✅ Main Ingredient:
- Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)

🧴 What You’ll Need:
- 2 tablespoons of baking soda
- 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide (3% solution – optional but boosts effectiveness)
- 1 tablespoon of dish soap or liquid laundry detergent
- An old toothbrush or soft scrubbing brush
- Clean water for rinsing
🧽 Instructions:
- Mix the stain remover paste:
- In a small bowl, combine:
- 2 tbsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp hydrogen peroxide (optional for stubborn stains)
- 1 tbsp dish soap or detergent
- Mix well to form a thick, spreadable paste.
- Apply to the stained area:
- Spread the paste generously over the yellow stain (on fabric, underarm stains, pillowcases, etc.).
- Gently scrub the area using a soft brush or old toothbrush.
- Let it sit:
- Leave the mixture on the stain for 30 minutes to 1 hour (up to 2 hours for deeper stains).
- Rinse or wash:
- Rinse thoroughly with warm water, then wash as usual in your washing machine or by hand.
- Dry normally and check results. Repeat if needed for older or more stubborn stains.
🌟 Why It Works:
- Baking Soda lifts and neutralizes stains and odors.
- Hydrogen Peroxide acts as a mild bleaching agent without damaging fabric.
- Dish Soap breaks down grease, sweat, or oil-based residues.
🧼 Best Used For:
- Yellow sweat stains on white shirts
- Pillowcase discoloration
- Stained armpit areas
- Old white fabric yellowing
