In the past, Lyn was one of the most well-known cabaret dancers in Mexico. However, everything changed because of someone close to her—believed to be jealous of her rising popularity.
According to The Sun, Thursday (June 26, 2025), the woman, whose real name is Lilia Guadalupe Mendiola, began her career as an exotic cabaret dancer in the early 1990s.
Her growing popularity eventually led her to the world of film, where she appeared in several Latin movies like Tivoli and Las Ficheras, although mostly in minor roles.
While her fame was on the rise, Lyn decided to undergo cosmetic procedures to maintain her youthful appearance.
Allegedly, the push to get plastic surgery came from one of her close friends.
Unfortunately, this decision marked the beginning of a painful journey that would change her life forever.
When she first received facial fillers, the substance used was reportedly not officially approved as a cosmetic product.
As a result, Lyn’s face suffered from severe swelling, pus formation, and eventually permanent damage.
In an interview, Lyn revealed that the injected material was not standard medical filler, but a mixture of vegetable oil, baby oil, and water.
She has since undergone multiple medical treatments to restore her face, but the results have been far from what she hoped for.
One surgeon was able to remove some of the oil from her face.
However, the procedure came at a great cost.
